WHERE TO BUY MATERNITY CLOTHES #BUMPSTYLE

Now that I(with the help of my parents of course) have been taking care of a tiny human for the past 3 weeks, i have realized that being pregnant is the easiest part of parenthood. So all those expecting mama-to-bes, enjoy this phase to the fullest. I absolutely LOVED being pregnant, even though there were lots of unexpected things i got to experience for the first time in my life because of that. I loved that strangers congratulated me everywhere i went. Loved that i got pampered by my husband and family members. Loved that we got to celebrate our baby girl with friends & family at my baby shower(first real big party we have had together since getting married), thanks to my lovely friends.  I am especially glad that i never fell sick(2 months in India without catching a cold is a new record for me honestly), and that i was energetic & healthy throughout my pregnancy to go out to enjoy all the things i usually do.

WHEN MEMORIES COME FLOODING BACK

Reminiscing about my childhood, growing up in my hometown is not something i consciously do or think about often. But recently certain discussions or random things have been reminding me of some of my favorite memories growing up. Thought i would share those here, and maybe kindle some of your childhood memories as well.

Few days ago T and I were discussing about how nowadays kids have access to a lot of food items on a daily basis, which were more of a luxury for him and I when we were kids. One such food item was ice cream. Nowadays, everyone keeps a tub or box of ice-cream in the freezer all the time, including us. Its mostly Talenti Gelato in our case. But growing up, ice cream was something that we had only on special occasions, when there is a festival, when we are entertaining big group of friends or family. When i was talking about this to T, who had similar upbringing, suddenly I remembered, how my dad would buy Arun ice cream balls every time we have a big non-veg lunch on weekends with our extended family. Do you remember those white balls with blue caps? It was my favorite, and one ball was never enough for me. And the best part, once you are done with eating, you can wash it and use to play ball. We use to play catch, cricket, and all sorts of games. Oh, fun times those were. Its one of my fond memories of my childhood that i have never really thought of before. So it was quite a good feeling when it all came rushing back to my mind :)

FOLLOW ME AROUND "PAINT THE TOWN" IN U-VILLAGE

Few weekends ago T and I went to U-Village to meet our friends. The boys wanted to play tennis(the reason why we met up), so us ladies stayed back in the U-Village to roam around and do some window shopping. We went to Jonathan Adler's store and were drooling over all his amazing designs that are way out of both our budgets. And then my friend asked if i wanted to go try the "Paint the town" where you paint your own ceramics. If you know me, then you would know what my answer was. Always up for trying something new. So off we went to the Paint The Town studio.

SPRING'S BIGGEST TREND: FLAT MULES

Happy Spring to all of you living on this side of the equator. I am all onboard for the sunnier mornings that light up our bedroom, and the fact that its light out when i get off work in the evening. I have been going on walking mixed with some jogging these couple days. It feels so good to be outside. And i saw a tree in full bloom today. I am happier, my mood is cheerful. I am already making plans to go the Quad in UW, and revisit the places on my first Spring in Seattle post. Ah, i am loving all of it.

SWEATER WEATHER IN KOTHAGIRI

When we were in India for 5 weeks in the end of 2016, our days were fully spent visiting relatives, and friends. Although all the homemade exotic indian food were amazing, we were getting a bit exhausted by the 4th week. So when we had couple of days to spare, we decided to go to a hill-station nearby.
